I had a friend over for lunch yesterday. We started out with the butternut squash bisque, followed by the fruit and cheese salad followed by the chicken salad with grapes and walnuts and the nice warm green beans with apricots and almonds. We were in Heaven!  She is a picky eater but she ate everything in sight. I have made the chicken salad 3 times already. Unbelievable. There are so many recipes I am going to try soon. oh... I really want to make the triple orange salad and when I do I will let you know how it turns out.

Dinner tonight was out of your cookbook, and it was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!  I made the butternut squash bisque and the Raw Apple Bread.  Both were awesome good, but the bread especially was out of this world.  Can't wait to eat the left overs for lunch tomorrow, and to try the next recipe--Taco Soup-- for dinner Wednesday.  I plan to cook my way straight through this wonderful book. The essays are delightful and I just love the teddy bears between the sections. This is really an EXCELLENT cookbook. The only "improvement" would be to have all the pages be washable, as I plan to use this book so much it will probably get splashed on more than once.
